Cocktail Hour: Strawberry St Germain

Welp, didn’t make it to the store to do the fall cocktail I envisioned. So I went ahead (like we have for all of quarantine) and made the best drink possible using what we had.

Ingredients:

  • 3 strawberries
  • 3oz Vodka
  • 1.5oz St Germain
  • 1/2 a lime
  • 2oz Soda Water

Muddle strawberries and squeeze lime. Then add vodka & st germain and shake over ice. Top with soda water and garnish as you like.

The One & Only: Aperol Spritz

Ingredients:

  • 3-4oz Prosecco
  • 2oz Aperol
  • 1oz Soda Water
  • Garnish: Orange Slice

Incorporate all ingredients over ice, garnish with orange & enjoy!

Green Smoothie Recipe

Before COVID I had over an hour commute for the days I was working in the office. I started making protein shakes for the ride – they were quick, easy and very filling. This is a routine that I have kept and have them most mornings.

Green Smoothie:

  • 1 cup of non-dairy milk (almond, coconut, today I used Ripple plant based milk)
  • 1 banana (reg or frozen, I prefer frozen)
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1/4 cup of blueberries
  • Chocolate protein powder
  • Collagen peptides (optional)

You can go to my instagram @butwilltherebewine for a time lapse video of this morning’s smoothie. I increased ingredients slightly as I make enough for two! 🙂
